Civil Engineering Accelerated BS/MS Pathway for Roger Williams University Students

Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth has partnered with Roger Williams University to develop a pathway for Roger Williams students to earn both a bachelor’s degree from RWU and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth in just five years. This accelerated pathway allows students to save time and money earning an advanced degree by earning credits toward a master's degree while completing their undergraduate degree.

Requirements

Interested students should:

  • Apply to the accelerated BS/MS program in spring of their junior year of college
  • Have a 3.0 GPA 

1. RWU students who complete two of the courses below with a grade of B or better can apply up to six credits to the MS in Civil Engineering at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøD.

2. A RWU student may opt to take one graduate-level CEN course at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøD during their junior or senior year at RWU. The course should be chosen in consultation with the CEN GPO. They may also apply three credits to the MS in Civil Engineering at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøD for taking the following course.

Provided that the student meets the grade requirements for the two courses selected under (1) and completes the course under (2) with a B or better grade, the student will have 9 credits invested toward the 30 credits required for the CEN MS degree.
