New students

Welcome to Computing and Information Technology Services (CITS)

IT (information technology) services require activation of:

  • Â鶹¹ÙÍøD Logon: the username and password for access to the myÂ鶹¹ÙÍøD portal where you will find all other IT tools and services such as COIN, Canvas, and Office365.
  • myÂ鶹¹ÙÍøD, email, and the student information system COIN are official means of communication at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth. So activate now!

Remember: You'll use your Â鶹¹ÙÍøD Logon username and password and your 8-digit student ID number often over the next few years - remember them but also keep them private and secure.

Please follow these steps to activate and configure the Â鶹¹ÙÍøD IT services available to you.

Do you know your 8-digit Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth student ID number? This is the identification number you may have used to check your admission application status online. This number will also be printed on your bill and on any new student ID cards that are issued.
