Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law faculty members hosted the fifth annual Â鶹¹ÙÍø Interdisciplinary Legal Studies Colloquium at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Club in Boston. The event was organized by Professors Julie Baker, Misty Peltz-Steele, Rick Peltz-Steele, and Spencer Clough with presentations by Jeremiah Ho and Justine Dunlap. The colloquium brought together scholars from all five Â鶹¹ÙÍø campuses (Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Medical) to exchange ideas on topics from a wide variety of disciplines.
The scholars brought various perspectives to bear on topics such as the Supreme Court’s influence on prominent social issues, economic development policy, regulation of cannabis and opioids, and immigration policy. Professor Rick Peltz-Steele wrote an insider’s view in his blog , detailing the event and the topics covered by each presentation.
