Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law Professor Julie Baker coached the National Moot Court Team to a successful weekend in the regional round at Roger Williams Law School.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law’s team of Kerina Silva, Flannery Rogers, and Mary Brigh Lavery earned the Best Brief Award, outpacing eight other regional law schools. The team also advanced to the semifinals, losing a close round to the eventual champion, Boston University.
The National Moot Court Competition is the oldest appellate advocacy competition in the country, sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the City of New York Bar Association.
