Superior Court Judge Rafi Yessayan and former U.S. Federal Justice Ted Harrington to speak with law faculty and students this coming month

This March the Commonwealth’s only public law school will welcome two distinguished judges who will offer insights into their careers and engage with Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law faculty and students on topics surrounding public interest law.
Superior Court Judge Rafi Yessayan will visit the law school March 2 at 5 p.m. at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law’s Moot Courtroom. Prior to becoming a judge on the Massachusetts Superior Court, the Honorable Rafi Yessayan served as an Assistant District Attorney, Public Defender, and Bar Advocate.
Former United States Federal Justice Ted Harrington will visit Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law March 10 at noon in the Moot Courtroom. He will discuss his career as a former U.S. Federal Judge and United States Attorney, as well as, his current status as a United States emeritus Federal Judge.
One of Â鶹¹ÙÍø Law’s signature programs is the Public Interest Law Fellowship Program (PILF), which consists of approximately 60 students who are provided a scholarship that represents 50 percent of both tuition and fees in exchange for a commitment by the students to careers in public interest law. As part of this program, students are required to perform 200 hours of community service/pro bono work.
