Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth's College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) Music Department has the pleasure to present the following concerts in the month of February:
Percussion Ensemble Concert
When: February 26, 2014, 6:30 p.m.
Where: CVPA Building, Room 104
Who: Led by Director Jamie Eckert, the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth Percussion Ensemble plays a wide variety of music with a contemporary approach and is known for incorporating many world percussion instruments into their repertoire.
Performance Jam Session Series
When: February 26, 2014, 8:00 p.m.
Where: CVPA Building, Room 104
Who: Jeff Holmes Quartet
The CVPA Music Department has invited the Jeff Holmes Quartet, featuring pianist and composer/arranger Jeff Holmes, Adam Kolker on tenor, soprano, and bass clarinet, James Cammack on acoustic and electric bass, and Steve Johns on drums. The quartet explores a variety of jazz styles balancing improvisational interplay and arranged ensemble.
Senior Capstone Preview
When: February 27, 2014, 12:30 p.m.
Where: CVPA Recital Hall, Room 153
Who: A variety of Classical, Jazz, and World Music as Senior Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth Music majors perform selections from their upcoming recitals.
