Thursday, April 1, 6:00 to 8:00 pm featuring Nick LeBlanc, Rayana Grace, Craig DeMello, Sarah Jane Mulvey, Amanda Eyssallenne and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth's own Emma Young.  

On Thursday, April 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth CVPA will present another night of Spoken Word on the CVPA Star Series stage. The lineup will include Nick LeBlanc, Rayana Grace, Craig DeMello, Sarah Jane Mulvey, Amanda Eyssallenne and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth's own Emma Young.  

Young is completing her MFA in Visual Design at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth. She has an upcoming feature on the Cape and Islands NPR Poetry Sunday program. Young served as Poet Laureate of the Town of West Tisbury. She runs a small design studio focused on typeset letterpress printing and handmade papers. Beginning with a love of language, Emma is a writer, designer, and craftsperson, working toward the articulation of ideas. 

Emma's work will be featured in the upcoming Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth 2021 MFA Thesis Exhibition, which will be on view at the Star Store Campus from March 30 to May 7. For more information and timed tickets, visit the University Art Gallery.


The CVPA Star Series runs every Thursday through the end of April. The Series is co-curated and co-produced in collaboration with Don Burton Media and Beatriz & Company with support from Â鶹¹ÙÍø Dartmouth and the City of New Bedford’s #NBfestive Winter Places project.
